The professional sport that pays it's athletes the least is MLS (Major League Soccer). Their lowest players get paid $50,000 annually. For any career; one would think that $50,000 is a reasonable salary, but for an athlete that seems quite minimal. When you compare that to the highest paid professional athlete, there is quite a difference. Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees currently makes $32,000,000 a year to do what he loves - to play baseball. Do you think some athletes are being paid too much? Perhaps it is not enough?
